Manifold is designed to fit Yamaha XVS 1100 V-Star, lowered application to prevent carburetor of touching a gas tank.

Best recommended carburetors would be a FCR40, Mikuni TM40, HSR 42. NOTE! Installing a HSR42 carburetor, throttle bracket might need to be modified to prevent hitting a gas tank.

Here are few tips about what material intake manifolds are made of. Years ago they been made of cast iron, later of aluminum, now composite manifolds are taking place. So it seems like material does not play a big role in performance, it plays a role in manufacturing expenses and weight. There are so many opinions about manifolds that are mage of certain materials, but in general the importance is, how the part is made, not what is made of.

Designed to fit Yamaha XVS 1100 V-Star

BLACK RTV on gaskets must be used installing the manifold to assure 100% seal.

1. Apply RTV on cylinder heads

2. Stick the gaskets and let them sit for a while.

3. Apply RTV on the manifold and gently tie the bolts.

4. Let it dry for about 45 min - 1 hour.
